The webinar provides an overview of a book titled Target Value Delivery of Building Projects, which will be published Summer 2024. Target Value Delivery is a process for setting project value and cost targets prior to design, then designing and building to those targets. The process has also been successfully applied to infrastructure and industrial projects, but there are thus far relatively few of those, so the book focuses on buildings. The Target Value Delivery process is executed with the help of several key methods (cross functional organization of design teams, set-based concurrent engineering, choosing by advantages, value engineering), all of which will be explained in the webinar.
