It is general knowledge that the construction industry (CI) is fraught with many examples and different types of waste. Over a number of years in the CI, I draw upon a number of instances of waste such as waiting time (WT), transportation (TR), unnecessary inventory (UI), defects (DF), inappropriate processing (IP), and unnecessary movement (UM) and instances of where these were part of the projects.
