Achieving Greater Efficiency, Value and Sustainability Through Effective Green Public Procurement

Building on the output from the LCi Roundtable Event held in the offices of EY on the 29 April 2025 and the interactive

panel discussion that took place at the LCi Annul Conference in November 2025, this Client Forum will:

• Provide an update on the progress the made with the drafting of the LCi Green Public Procurement (GPP) White Paper and;
• Gather feedback and commentary from the Client Forum attendees that will be used to inform the final version of the GPP White Paper

The agenda for Forum includes:

1. A brief recap of the output from the April 2025 Roundtable Event
2. An overview of the current Green Public Procurement policies and legislative framework.
3. Insights into the progress of the LCi GPP White Paper with a focus on life-cycle costing, energy efficiency in buildings and construction waste.
4. A panel discussion with representatives from the GPP Steering Group featuring three case studies from:
   1. Clúid Housing
   2. Transport Infrastructure Ireland (TII)
   3. Uisce Éireann
5. Open discussion on sustainability challenges and strategies to further inform the LCi GPP White Paper.
