Darrin Taylor – Darrin is a Lecturer in Management at Waterford Institute of Technology (WIT) Business School. Darrin is also Co-Director of the Lean Enterprise Excellence Group (www.wit.ie/lean) and Joint Programme Director of the Master of Business in Lean Practice, a leading-edge executive education Programme in Lean Management.
Bobby Kerr – Bobby Kerr is an Irish entrepreneur and businessman. As chairman of Insomnia Coffee Company he has led Insomnia to become Ireland’s largest coffee house chain over a 16 year period. He presents ‘Down to Business’ a Saturday Business Breakfast show on Newstalk and was a founding ‘Dragon’ on RTE’s Dragons’ Den. He has a variety of business interests in technology & manufacturing.

The purpose of the event is to raise awareness of Lean Principles in the Irish Architectural, Engineering & Construction (AEC) Industry and demonstrate how we can implement Lean as a collective group (CoP) through knowledge sharing, innovation through research and deep collaboration between the 4 main sectors – Owners, Designers, Contractors and Trades.
